More Details on Our Top Picks
OUMEE 850ML Emergency Disposable Urinal Bags, Pack of 8/12/20/28
This option stands out for its large 850 ml capacity, making it suitable for multiple uses without frequent changes, especially compared to smaller bags like the Moodooy 20-pack. Its unisex design ensures it can serve men, women, children, and patients, adding to its convenience. The quick absorption in just 25 seconds and odor control features help maintain hygiene during emergencies. However, the size may cause discomfort during extended use, and being disposable, it creates waste that must be managed. Its leak-proof seal provides security, but the single-use nature limits reuse, making it less ideal for ongoing needs.
Pros:- Large 850 ml capacity reduces need for frequent replacements
- Unisex design suits all users including children and patients
- Fast absorption and odor control enhance hygiene and comfort
- Leak-proof seals prevent spills and leaks
Cons:- Size may be uncomfortable for prolonged use
- Disposable design contributes to environmental waste
Best for: Families or caregivers needing reliable, large-capacity emergency urinal options for multiple users or extended situations
Not ideal for: Individuals seeking discreet, everyday use solutions, as the large size may be cumbersome for frequent, short-term needs
- Capacity:850 ml
- Pack Sizes:8, 12, 20, 28 pieces
- Material:PE plastic
- Absorption Time:25 seconds
Our verdict“This pick is best for those who need a high-capacity, all-in-one emergency urinal solution for multiple users or extended use.”
Moodooy Disposable Emergency Urinal Bag, 20 Pack Portable Camping Pee Bags, Travel Urine Bags, Emergency Portable Urine Bag for Men, Women, Kids
Compared with the larger OUMEE bags, the Moodooy 20-pack offers a more portable, lightweight option ideal for outdoor activities and travel. Its foldable design and 700 ml capacity make it easy to carry discreetly, and the odor-absorbing materials enhance hygiene. However, the capacity may be insufficient for users with higher fluid needs, and since it’s designed strictly for emergencies, it’s not suitable for regular use. The single-use design helps with hygiene but adds to waste concerns. Its strong sealing prevents leaks, making it reliable in unpredictable outdoor scenarios.
Pros:- Lightweight and foldable for easy packing
- Unisex design fits all ages including children and seniors
- Large capacity with secure sealing prevents leaks
- Contains odor-absorbing materials for hygiene
Cons:- Limited to emergency use, not for regular urination
- Capacity might be too small for some users with high fluid output
Best for: Outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, or caregivers needing a compact, emergency solution for all ages
Not ideal for: Users expecting frequent or long-term use, as the 700 ml capacity may require multiple bags and the single-use design generates waste
- Item Package Dimensions:9.09 x 6.69 x 3.11 inches
- Package Weight:1.19 lbs
- Item Weight:0.84 lbs
- Capacity:700 ml
Our verdict“This pick suits travelers and outdoor lovers who prioritize portability and hygiene in emergency urinal options.”
TRIPTIPS 1000cc Disposable Urine Bags for Travel – Leak-Proof Emergency Urinals for Women, Men, Kids (12/24 Pcs)
Compared with smaller options like Moodooy, the TRIPTIPS 1000cc bags provide a significantly larger capacity, ideal for longer outings or situations where frequent bag changes aren’t practical. Its 1000cc capacity, combined with clear measuring lines, helps monitor fluid levels easily. The leak-proof design with gel absorption enhances security, and the foldable, discreet appearance makes it suitable for travel. On the downside, the gel absorption process can take up to 15 seconds, which might be inconvenient in urgent moments, and some users may find the design less comfortable for extended wear.
Pros:- Large 1000cc capacity with clear measurement lines
- Leak-proof with gel absorption for safety
- Compact, foldable, and discreet design
- Includes quick-gelling poo gel for added safety
Cons:- Gel absorption can take up to 15 seconds
- May be less comfortable for prolonged use
Best for: Travelers or outdoor adventurers needing a large, discreet urinal with clear measurement and leak-proof reliability
Not ideal for: Individuals seeking a quick, simple solution for short-term or everyday use, as the gel process adds a slight delay and the design may not suit all preferences
- Capacity:1000cc
- Number of pieces:12 or 24
- Material:3-layer composite
- Absorbent:15g poo gel
Our verdict“This is a strong choice for travelers needing a large, secure, and discreet urinal, accepting a slight delay for safety features.”
Disposable Male Urinal Bags, 20 Count, Leak-Proof Travel Pee Bags with Super Absorbent Pads for Men
Compared to unisex options like Moodooy, these male-specific bags focus on ease of use for men, featuring a 16 oz (500 ml) capacity and super absorbent pads that lock in liquids and odors. Designed for quick, hygienic use during travel or outdoor activities, they excel at preventing spills with their leak-proof seals. The main tradeoff is that they’re only suitable for men, limiting versatility for other users. Also, the single-use nature means waste accumulates quickly, which might be inconvenient for frequent use or environmentally conscious users.
Pros:- Leak-proof design prevents spills
- High capacity with super absorbent pads
- Compact and lightweight for portability
- Locks in odors for hygiene
Cons:- Limited to men, reducing versatility
- Single-use creates waste and environmental concerns
Best for: Men seeking a simple, reliable urinal solution for travel, outdoor activities, or emergencies
Not ideal for: Women or caregivers needing unisex or larger capacity options for multiple users, due to design specificity and smaller capacity
- Quantity:20 count
- Capacity:16 oz (500 ml)
- Material:Medical-grade
- Absorbent Pad:Yes
Our verdict“This product is ideal for men who need a straightforward, secure urinal during travel or outdoor emergencies, accepting the waste generation tradeoff.”
12PCS Disposable Urine Bags, Leakproof Emergency Pee Bag for Travel
Compared with larger bags like OUMEE, these 900cc bags offer a compact, portable option suitable for a wide range of users. Their leakproof sealing and quick absorption make them reliable for travel, traffic, or outdoor emergencies. The unisex design and individual packaging enhance convenience and hygiene. However, as single-use bags, they contribute to waste, and their absorbent material might cause discomfort for some users during extended wear. They’re best suited for occasional or emergency use rather than regular urination needs.
Pros:- Leakproof sealing prevents odors and leaks
- Large 900cc capacity suitable for adults
- Portable, individually packaged, and easy to carry
- Unisex design fits all users
Cons:- Single-use only, leading to waste
- Absorbent material may cause discomfort for some
Best for: Travelers and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable, portable urinal solution for emergencies
Not ideal for: Users requiring a reusable or more comfortable solution for frequent use, as these are disposable and may cause discomfort over time
- Capacity:900cc
- Quantity:12 pieces
- Material:Absorbent, leakproof plastic
- Design:Unisex, portable, individually packaged
Our verdict“This product provides a dependable, portable emergency urinal for travel, with the convenience of individual packaging and leakproof design.”
TravelJohn Resealable Disposable Urinal Bags (TJ1N-C)
This option stands out for its resealable design, allowing multiple uses and convenient storage, which makes it more versatile than single-use alternatives like the Disposable Urine Bags for Women and Men, 12/24 Pack. Its odorless gel technology and spill guard promote hygiene and odor control, but the limited 28oz capacity means it’s less suited for extended use without frequent disposal. The puncture-proof LIQSORB material enhances safety, yet the environmental impact of reusing within the capacity limits remains a concern. Compared to the TravelJohn Leakproof Bags, this model’s reusability can reduce waste; however, it requires careful disposal after each full use. This pick makes the most sense for travelers or campers seeking a hygienic, multiple-use option but not for users with high-volume needs. Ideal for short trips or emergencies where hygiene and reusability matter most.
Pros:- Odorless and spill-proof gel technology
- Resealable for safe storage and reuse
- Suitable for all genders and kids
- Reliable puncture-proof design
Cons:- Limited to 28oz capacity per use
- Disposable bags may generate waste
- Requires proper disposal after use
Best for: Travelers and campers who need a hygienic, reusable solution with odor control
Not ideal for: Long-term or high-volume users who require larger or disposable-only options
- Capacity:28oz / 800ml
- Reusability:Reusable until full
- Material:Puncture-proof LIQSORB technology
- Design:Unisex, spill guard
Our verdict“This is ideal for those seeking a hygienic, reusable urinal bag with odor control during travel or short-term outdoor activities.”
Disposable Urine Bags for Women and Men, 12/24 Pack for Travel and Camping
This pack offers a straightforward, single-use solution with a generous 800ml capacity, making it an attractive choice over smaller bags like the TravelJohn Leakproof Bags. Its large size and leak-proof sealing strip make it reliable for emergency and travel use, but the single-use nature means it can create significant waste, especially if used frequently. Unlike the resealable TravelJohn, this product emphasizes convenience over reusability, which can be a drawback for eco-conscious users. The unisex design and easy disposal make it suitable for a variety of users including pregnant women and the elderly, but it’s less cost-effective over time. Best suited for travelers or outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize quantity and simplicity.
Pros:- Large 800ml capacity with leak-proof sealing
- Unisex design suitable for diverse users
- Convenient for travel, camping, and emergencies
- Easy to use and dispose of
Cons:- Single-use only, generates waste
- No reusable option available
- Limited to emergency or temporary use
Best for: Travelers, campers, and emergency users needing large, disposable bags in bulk
Not ideal for: Eco-minded consumers or those seeking reusable solutions for frequent use
- Capacity:800ml
- Material:PE
- Color:Pink
- Item Dimensions:1.5 x 0.8 x 0.5 inches
- Package Dimensions:10.87 x 7.48 x 3.74 inches
- Package Weight:0.63 kg
Our verdict“This is a practical choice for users who need large, disposable bags for occasional or emergency use without environmental concerns.”
OUMEE Disposable Urine Bags (8/12/20/28 Pack)
This pick is distinguished by its rapid absorption time—within 45 seconds—making it ideal for situations where quick containment is essential, such as motion sickness or medical needs. Compared with larger capacity options like the TRIPTIPS 1000cc Bags, the 700ml size may be limiting for users with higher liquid needs, but it excels in portability and ease of use. The leak-proof, odorless design ensures discreet handling, though the single-use format means it doesn’t address eco concerns or repeated use. Its one-handed operation makes it especially suitable for users who need a no-fuss, quick solution. Best suited for travelers or patients needing rapid absorption with minimal fuss.
Pros:- Quick absorption within 45 seconds
- Leak-proof and odorless design
- Portable and easy to use with one hand
- Multiple pack sizes for flexibility
Cons:- Limited capacity if used repeatedly
- Single-use only, not eco-friendly
- May not suit larger liquid needs
Best for: Individuals requiring quick, reliable disposal during travel or medical situations
Not ideal for: Long-term or high-volume users who need larger, eco-friendly options
- Capacity:700 ml
- Absorption Time:45 seconds
- Material:PE
- Pack Sizes:8, 12, 20, 28
Our verdict“This is a strong choice for users prioritizing speed, convenience, and portability in a disposable urinal bag.”
TRIPTIPS 1000cc Disposable Urine Bags for Travel, Emergency, and Outdoor Use (12/24 Pcs)
This product offers a large 1000cc capacity, outperforming smaller bags like the OUMEE Disposable Urine Bags in volume, making it suitable for those who need multiple uses or larger liquid volume. The leak-proof, secure seal and quick-absorbing gel provide confidence during extended outdoor activities or emergencies. However, its bulkier size may be less discreet and more uncomfortable for extended use compared to smaller, more portable options. The dissolving film and gel transform waste into a solid, but handling the gel and film after use can be cumbersome. This bag is ideal for those prioritizing capacity and security over minimal size or eco-friendliness. Perfect for long outings or multi-use scenarios where capacity matters most.
Pros:- Large 1000cc capacity for multiple uses
- Leak-proof and secure sealing
- Quick-absorbing gel transforms liquid into solid
- Compact and discreet for portability
Cons:- May be uncomfortable for extended wear
- Single-use only, less eco-friendly
- Handling gel and dissolving film can be messy
Best for: Outdoor enthusiasts and travelers needing large, reliable capacity for extended use
Not ideal for: Users requiring compact, lightweight solutions or eco-conscious consumers
- Capacity:1000cc
- Material:3-layer composite
- Absorbent Gel:15g poo gel
- Dissolving Film:Water-soluble
Our verdict“This is the best choice for those who need a large, secure, and reliable bag for extended outdoor or emergency situations.”
TravelJohn Disposable Urinal Bags – Leakproof, Unisex, 6 Pack
This pick emphasizes portability with a compact 6-pack of 28oz bags, making it ideal for short trips or emergencies where space and convenience are prioritized. Its leakproof, gel-based technology ensures hygiene and odor control, similar to the larger packs but in a smaller quantity, which can be limiting for frequent or prolonged use. Unlike the resealable TravelJohn Resealable Bags, these are designed for single use, which increases waste and cost over time. The unisex design broadens usability, but the limited number of bags means it’s better suited for occasional use rather than extended needs. Best suited for quick, on-the-go emergencies and infrequent travelers.
Pros:- Leakproof and odorless gel technology
- Unisex design for all users
- Portable and lightweight for travel
- Secure spill guard
Cons:- Limited to 6 bags per pack
- Single-use only, creates waste
- Not ideal for long-term or repeated use
Best for: Occasional travelers or outdoor users needing a compact, disposable solution
Not ideal for: Frequent users or those seeking eco-friendly, reusable options
- Capacity:28oz / 800ml
- Material:Plastic
- Color:White
- Dimensions:4.8 x 8.1 x 2 inches
- Weight:10.72 ounces
Our verdict“This is a practical, space-saving choice for short-term or emergency use during travel or outdoor activities.”
Lunderg Disposable Urine Bags for Men – 40 Count
The Lunderg Disposable Urine Bags for Men excel in providing a straightforward, mess-free solution for men on the go, especially during travel or camping. Compared to the Disposable Urine Bags for Women and Men, 12/24 Pack, Lunderg’s 40-pack offers a more economical choice for frequent users, though it limits total quantity. Its super absorbent pads quickly gel liquids and cut odors, making it suitable for short-term needs, but the smaller pack size may be a downside for extended use or high-volume situations. This pick makes the most sense for individuals who prioritize convenience and odor control in temporary settings without the need for large, repeated supplies.
Pros:- Easy to use and dispose
- Super absorbent pads reduce odors
- Portable and convenient for travel and emergencies
- Affordable for multiple uses
Cons:- Limited to 40 bags per pack
- Potential for leaks if not tied properly
Best for: Men needing a portable, easy-to-dispose solution for short-term travel, camping, or emergency situations.
Not ideal for: Long-term users or those requiring high-capacity, reusable options—these bags are single-use and limited in quantity.
- Quantity:40 count
- Absorbent Capacity:20oz / 600ml
- Material:Super absorbent pads
Our verdict“This product suits men seeking straightforward, disposable urinal bags for short-term, on-the-go use.”
Disposable Urine Bags for Women and Men, 12/24 Pack for Travel and Camping
This unisex disposable urine bag is designed with emergencies and travel in mind. Its substantial 800ml capacity surpasses the smaller Lunderg bags, making it more suitable for situations where longer use is needed, such as extended outdoor trips. The leak-proof seal and compact foldability enhance portability, but it’s primarily meant for emergency use rather than regular urination, and the absorbent pad may not handle prolonged use efficiently. Compared to the Colingmill 700ml Pack of 100, this bag offers a more user-friendly design for occasional needs but sacrifices bulk capacity for convenience.
Pros:- Large 800ml capacity
- Leak-proof sealing with sealing strip
- Compact and lightweight
- Easy to use with gel pad
Cons:- Designed primarily for emergencies, not regular urination
- Absorbent pad may be insufficient for prolonged use
Best for: Unisex users needing a reliable, large-capacity emergency urinal during travel or outdoor activities.
Not ideal for: People requiring regular, repeated urination solutions or those seeking reusable options—these are disposable and suited for infrequent use.
- Capacity:800ml
- Material:PE
- Package Dimensions:10.2 x 7.91 x 3.82 inches
Our verdict“This bag is ideal for infrequent, emergency use where capacity and portability are key priorities.”
Colingmill Disposable Urine Bag 700 ml – Pack of 100 for Travel and Outdoor Use
The Colingmill 700ml Pack of 100 stands out for those seeking a high-volume supply of reliable, hygienic urinal bags. Its 700ml capacity makes it suitable for longer outdoor excursions or travel, and its leakproof PE construction with an odor-absorbing pad ensures cleanliness and ease of disposal. The individual packaging enhances hygiene, but the bags are primarily intended for urine, limiting versatility. Compared with the Disposable Urine Bags for Women and Men, 12/24 Pack, this offer provides larger quantities for bulk needs, though it might be overkill for those with infrequent requirements.
Pros:- Large 700ml capacity
- Leakproof design ensures no spills
- Individually packaged for hygiene
- Suitable for multiple outdoor or travel scenarios
Cons:- Absorbent pad may not fully contain very large volumes
- Limited to urine, not versatile for other bodily waste
Best for: Travelers or outdoor enthusiasts needing a large, dependable supply of single-use urinal bags for extended trips.
Not ideal for: Users seeking reusable or multi-purpose solutions—these are disposable and mainly for urination.
- Capacity:700ml
- Package Quantity:100 pcs
- Material:PE
Our verdict“This product is best suited for bulk, long-term outdoor or travel use where reliability and hygiene are priorities.”
Disposable Urine Bags for Women and Men, 12/24 Pack for Travel and Camping
The Unisex Disposable Urine Bags provide a balanced solution for both women and men in emergency situations. Their 800ml capacity exceeds many alternatives, including the Lunderg and Colingmill bags, making them suitable for longer use during camping or travel. The leak-proof sealing strip and lightweight foldability enhance portability, although they are intended for single use, creating waste. Their unisex design simplifies purchases for households, but users must be mindful of proper sealing to prevent leaks, especially during extended use.
Pros:- Unisex design suitable for all
- Leak-proof and large capacity
- Compact and foldable
- Easy to use with gel and sealing strip
Cons:- Single-use only, creating waste
- Absorbent pad may be insufficient for very long durations
Best for: Unisex users needing a reliable, large-capacity, portable solution for emergency urination during outdoor activities or travel.
Not ideal for: Those seeking reusable or environmentally friendly options—these are disposable and generate waste after each use.
- Capacity:800ml
- Pack Size:12 or 24 packs
- Weight:0.7 oz per bag
Our verdict“This bag is well-suited for outdoor enthusiasts who want a simple, large-capacity, unisex emergency urinal solution.”
How We Picked
These products were evaluated based on capacity, leak-proof design, absorption efficiency, ease of use, portability, and overall value. Priority was given to bags that demonstrate reliable leak prevention and high absorption to prevent messes, especially in emergency scenarios. Portability was also crucial, as many users need discreet and lightweight options for travel or outdoor activities. Products were ranked to balance quality and cost, ensuring options are suitable for different budgets and needs, from casual outdoor users to frequent travelers or caregivers.Factors to Consider When Choosing Disposable Urinal Bags
Choosing the right disposable urinal bag involves considering several practical factors that impact comfort, safety, and convenience. Understanding the key features and tradeoffs can help you select a product that performs reliably when you need it most. Here are some elements to keep in mind beyond just price and capacity.Capacity and Size
The capacity of a urinal bag directly influences how much urine it can hold before needing disposal. Larger bags are advantageous in emergencies or for extended use, but they tend to be bulkier and less discreet. Smaller, more portable options are easier to carry but may require more frequent changes. Consider your typical use case—if you need a bag for long outdoor trips, prioritize higher capacity; for quick trips or discreet carrying, smaller sizes may suffice.
Leak-Proof Design
Leak-proof seals and secure closures are essential to prevent spills, especially when transporting or storing the bag after use. Look for bags with reinforced seams or resealable openings, which add an extra layer of security. Many products now feature super absorbent pads that lock in moisture, reducing odor and mess. A leak-proof design isn’t just about cleanliness; it’s about peace of mind in environments where cleanliness is hard to maintain.
Absorption and Odor Control
Effective absorption ensures that urine is contained quickly, reducing the risk of leakage or unpleasant odors. Some bags incorporate odor-neutralizing agents or sealed liners that block odor escape. Bags with super absorbent materials tend to be more reliable, especially in emergency or outdoor scenarios. Keep in mind that higher absorption often correlates with increased weight and bulk, so balance capacity with portability based on your needs.
Ease of Use and Discretion
Features like resealable openings, ergonomic shapes, and discreet sizes make a significant difference in user experience. If you anticipate using the bags in public or semi-private settings, consider options that are designed for quick, discreet operation. Simple, intuitive seals and minimal fuss can help avoid embarrassing accidents or discomfort, especially for first-time users or caregivers assisting others.
Price and Pack Size
Cost varies widely in this category, often depending on capacity, brand, and features. Buying in bulk can reduce the overall cost per bag, but only if you’re confident in the product’s quality. Consider how often you’ll need these bags—occasional users can save by choosing smaller packs, while frequent travelers or caregivers may benefit from larger, more economical packs. Don’t forget to factor in storage space and convenience when deciding on pack sizes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are disposable urinal bags safe for the environment?
Many disposable urinal bags are designed for single use and are made from plastic materials that can be challenging to dispose of sustainably. Some brands are now offering biodegradable or environmentally friendly options, which break down faster after disposal. If environmental impact is a concern, look for products explicitly labeled as biodegradable or compostable, but also ensure they still meet your needs for leak-proof and odor control.
Can I use disposable urinal bags for incontinence management?
While some urinal bags are suitable for incontinence, most are designed primarily for travel, outdoor, or emergency use. If you need a solution for daily incontinence, specialized products such as adult incontinence pads or dedicated incontinence bags might be more appropriate. However, for occasional use or short-term management, high-capacity, leak-proof bags from this list can serve as a temporary solution.
How discreet are these bags for travel or outdoor use?
The level of discretion varies among products. Smaller, foldable, or resealable bags tend to be more discreet, fitting easily into pockets or bags without drawing attention. Some brands emphasize slim profiles or include carrying cases, which help users transport them inconspicuously. Choosing a compact, odor-sealing design is key if discretion is your priority.
Are these bags suitable for women, men, or both?
Many disposable urinal bags are designed to be unisex, accommodating both men and women with their shape and sealing mechanisms. However, some products are optimized specifically for men or women, mainly due to the design shape or opening type. When selecting, verify if the product explicitly states unisex suitability or if it is tailored to a particular gender to ensure comfort and effectiveness.
How many bags should I buy for a multi-day outdoor trip?
The number depends on your capacity needs and trip length. As a general guideline, for a two-day outdoor trip, packing at least 4-6 bags provides a comfortable margin, especially if you’re unsure about access to toilets. Larger packs or higher-capacity options reduce the number of individual bags needed, but always consider storage and weight limits. Planning for a few extras is wise in case of unexpected needs or delays.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall performance, the OUMEE 850ML Emergency Disposable Urinal Bags offer a reliable balance of capacity, leak-proof design, and ease of use. Budget-conscious users or casual outdoor travelers might prefer the TravelJohn Resealable Disposable Urinal Bags for their affordability and resealability. First-time users or those prioritizing simplicity should consider options with clear seals and compact sizes, such as the Disposable Male Urinal Bags. Caregivers or frequent travelers needing high-capacity, odor-neutralizing bags will find the Colingmill Disposable Urine Bag 700 ml or similar options best suited. Ultimately, understanding your specific needs—whether for emergencies, travel, or daily use—guides the best choice in this versatile category.
