More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This exclusive 4-pack stands out for offering a curated selection of holiday-themed Squishmallows, making it ideal for collectors who want a festive variety in one set. Compared with the Micromallows Advent Calendars, this pack provides larger plush toys, which are more suitable for cuddling and display. While the set includes four characters with distinct backgrounds, its limited theme means it’s less versatile outside the holiday season. The plush are undeniably soft and high-quality, but the lack of size details might leave some buyers uncertain about their dimensions. Overall, this set is perfect for those seeking a festive display or gift bundle that celebrates the season, though it offers less variety for everyday play.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material ensures cuddly comfort
- Includes four distinct characters, boosting collection diversity
- Official Jazwares product, exclusive to Amazon, adding authenticity
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters, reducing year-round appeal
- No size specifics provided, which may cause uncertainty for some buyers
Best for: Holiday collectors and fans wanting a themed plush set for decor or gifting
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a larger, versatile plush for year-round play or display
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set is best for seasonal collectors and fans who want a festive plush bundle for decoration or gifting.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Richie Axolotl Plush
This 10-inch Richie Axolotl offers a perfect balance between size and cuddliness, making it a favorite for kids and collectors who want a plush that’s easy to carry around. Unlike the smaller Micromallows, Richie provides a more substantial snuggle experience, though its plush softness might be too yielding for kids who prefer more structure. It’s a straightforward pick for gift-givers seeking a reliable, adorable character, but the focus on only one character limits variety. Compared to the Jack Skellington plush, Richie is more versatile for everyday cuddling rather than seasonal or themed decor. For those looking for a plush that’s both portable and irresistibly soft, this model makes a strong case.
Pros:- Super soft and irresistibly cuddly for all ages
- Ideal size for travel, naps, and imaginative play
- Encourages imaginative storytelling with its adorable design
Cons:- May be too soft for children who prefer firmer plush toys
- Limited to a single character, reducing collection diversity
Best for: Parents and gift-givers seeking a cuddly travel buddy for children
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting a plush with more firmness or multiple characters in one package
- Size:10 inches
- Character:Richie Axolotl
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for those seeking a portable, cuddly companion for everyday comfort.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar excels at turning the holiday season into a fun countdown with 24 tiny Micromallows, making it ideal for collectors who love small, seasonal plush. The compact size of 2.5 inches makes these plush perfect for display or stacking, but may disappoint those seeking larger, more huggable plush toys. The variety of characters like Nick Santa Claus and Manny Snowman ensures a festive experience, yet the limited size restricts their appeal for active play. Compared with the Jack Skellington plush, these Micromallows are more about seasonal collection than everyday cuddling. It’s a smart choice for holiday enthusiasts wanting a daily surprise, though less suited for those who prefer plush toys as main cuddle companions.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Micromallows, enhancing collection variety
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal ensures quality
- Perfect for holiday countdowns, gifting, and seasonal decor
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to those wanting plush for cuddling
- Limited to holiday-themed characters, reducing year-round use
Best for: Holiday collectors and families who enjoy festive countdowns with small plush surprises
Not ideal for: Buyers looking for larger, more substantial plush toys for cuddling or display
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows

Our verdict“This advent calendar is a delightful choice for holiday countdown fans and seasonal collectors seeking festive surprises.”
Squishmallows 8-Inch Jack Skellington Holiday Plush
This 8-inch Jack Skellington plush captures the iconic character’s spooky charm, making it a standout for fans of Nightmare Before Christmas. Its soft, squishy construction makes it ideal for cuddling and display, yet its size might be limiting for those who prefer larger plush toys for more substantial play. Themed for both Halloween and Christmas, it doubles as seasonal decor, but that focus means it may not suit buyers looking for a versatile, all-year plush. Compared with Richie Axolotl, Jack Skellington appeals more to themed collectors and fans of the film, offering a festive aesthetic rather than everyday comfort. For seasonal decor and fans of spooky characters, this plush hits the mark perfectly.
Pros:- Soft, squishy, and highly collectible, capturing Jack’s iconic look
- Great for cuddling, display, and seasonal decorating
- A thoughtful gift for fans of the film
Cons:- Limited to 8-inch size, less suitable for larger plush fans
- Primarily themed for holiday or Halloween decor, reducing versatility
Best for: Nightmare Before Christmas enthusiasts and seasonal decor lovers
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger, more cuddly plush toys or non-themed collectibles
- Character:Jack Skellington
- Size:8 inches
- Theme:Nightmare Before Christmas
Our verdict“Ideal for Nightmare Before Christmas fans and seasonal decorators seeking a cute, themed plush.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar mirrors the smaller Micromallows set, offering 24 miniature plush toys that make holiday countdowns interactive and collectible. Its compact size is ideal for seasonal decor and gift-giving, but it might not satisfy those wanting larger, more huggable plush. The variety of characters like Brooke the Polar Bear and Manny Snowman adds to its appeal, although the small size limits its use for active play. Compared to the larger holiday 4-pack, this calendar emphasizes daily surprises over collection volume. It’s a smart pick for holiday fans who enjoy miniature plush and festive anticipation, though it’s less suited for those seeking plush for cuddling or year-round display.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Micromallows, boosting collection variety
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal ensures quality
- Perfect for festive countdowns and seasonal decor
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to all collectors or for active cuddling
- Limited to holiday characters, reducing year-round relevance
Best for: Holiday countdown fans and miniature plush collectors
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger, versatile plush toys for all-season use
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“A charming choice for seasonal countdowns and miniature plush collectors wanting festive surprises.”
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
This 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus plush stands out for its combination of size and charm, making it a versatile choice for both collectors and those seeking a substantial cuddly toy. Compared with smaller options like the Micromallows, the larger size offers a more satisfying hug and display presence, though it may be less portable for travel or small hands. Its ultrasoft, high-quality material ensures comfort, and the Santa theme adds festive cheer. The inclusion of a bio and official authenticity seal enhances its appeal as a collectible. However, its size may be a drawback for young children or those with limited space, and it’s primarily appealing to fans of plush toys or Squishmallows. This pick makes the most sense for holiday lovers who want a plush with both display and cuddling potential, and are okay with the size.Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material for maximum comfort
- Large size offers a satisfying hug and display presence
- Unique Santa character with festive appeal
- Official Squishmallows authenticity seal
Cons:- Too large for small children or travel
- Limited appeal if only interested in smaller plush collectibles
Best for: Families or collectors seeking a sizable, high-quality holiday plush to display or cuddle during the season
Not ideal for: Small children or buyers with limited space, since its 14-inch size may be cumbersome for small hands or compact areas
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for those wanting a substantial, festive collectible that doubles as a cuddle buddy.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
The Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar offers 24 tiny 2.5-inch plush toys, making it ideal for those who enjoy a daily festive surprise during December. Compared to the larger 8-inch Fleur the Yule Log, this set emphasizes variety and the excitement of a countdown, though its small size may be less appealing to collectors seeking display-worthy plushies. The official Squishmallows seal and holiday theme enhance its collectible value, especially for fans of the brand. However, the tiny size limits its appeal for those who prefer larger plush toys or want plushes to serve as main decorations. It’s best suited for holiday countdown fans, gift givers, or collectors who enjoy small, themed plushes as part of seasonal decor.Pros:- Includes 24 unique holiday-themed plush toys
- Compact 2.5-inch size for easy gifting and display
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal

- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is a fun, compact way to celebrate the season with daily plush surprises for dedicated fans.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log Plush
Fleur the Yule Log, at 8 inches, offers a festive, adorable plush that fits well on shelves or beds, making it a good choice for holiday decor or smaller cuddle spots. Compared with the larger Nick the Santa, Fleur is more manageable for limited spaces and travel, though it sacrifices some of the cuddling heft. Its plush, high-quality material and unique holiday theme make it a charming seasonal piece, especially for those who prefer a smaller, decorative plush. The limited size restricts its use as a primary cuddly toy for children or those seeking plushes for extensive play. This makes Fleur ideal for holiday decoration or collectors who want a festive accent without overwhelming space.Pros:- Festive holiday Yule Log design with unique bio
- High-quality ultrasoft plush material
- Compact size fits easily on shelves or beds
- Official Squishmallows product
Cons:- Limited size reduces cuddling or play potential
- Only available in holiday-themed designs
Best for: Decorators, small-space collectors, or those who want a cute, holiday-themed plush for display
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking plush toys for regular cuddling or travel companions, due to its modest size
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Theme:Holiday/Yule Log
Our verdict“Fleur is an ideal seasonal ornament and small plush for those wanting a festive accent that’s easy to display.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Wreath 4-Pack
The Micromallows Holiday Wreath 4-Pack provides four small, 2.5-inch plush toys representing festive characters, perfect for decorating or gifting during the season. Compared with the larger 14-inch Nick, this set emphasizes variety and ease of integration into holiday decor. Each character is adorable and collectible, but the tiny size limits their use as main cuddly toys or display pieces for those who prefer larger plushes. The official seal and festive theme make them appealing as small gifts or stocking stuffers. This set suits buyers who want to add a sprinkle of holiday cheer to their decor or gift giving without taking up much space.Pros:- Includes four different holiday characters
- Tiny 2.5-inch size is highly portable and versatile
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal

Cons:- Limited size reduces cuddling or display impact
- Not suitable for very young children due to small parts
Best for: Holiday decorators, small gift pack buyers, or collectors seeking tiny, festive plushes for seasonal arrangements
Not ideal for: Those seeking plush toys for hugging or large display pieces, as the tiny size reduces their presence
- Unit Count:4
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:Four holiday characters
Our verdict“This 4-pack offers a quick and charming way to add festive touches or small gifts to holiday celebrations.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This 4-pack of small, ultrasoft plush characters, including Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Bear, Marilyn the Green Ornament, and Luna the Penguin, offers a variety of festive characters in a convenient set. Compared with the larger Nick or Fleur, these plushes are more versatile for gifting, stocking stuffers, or adding to a collection. Their small size makes them less suitable for hugging or display as main pieces, but their soft material and unique character designs make them appealing for seasonal gifts. Since they’re limited to holiday characters, this set works best for those wanting a quick, varied collection or gift package, but less so for those who prefer larger, more cuddly plushes.Pros:- Includes four distinct, festive characters
- Soft, ultrasoft plush material for cuddling
- Ideal for stocking stuffers and small gifts
- Official Jazwares product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited size reduces appeal for cuddling or display
- Only includes holiday-themed characters
Best for: Holiday gift buyers, collectors building a festive plush set, or those wanting a variety of small plush characters
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking plush toys for cuddling or large seasonal decorations, due to their small size and specific theme

- Includes:4 plush characters
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set is a practical choice for holiday gifting and building a small, varied plush collection during the season.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right squishmallows for the holidays involves more than just picking a cute plush. Consider the recipient’s preferences, the size of the plush, and how the product fits your holiday gifting goals. To help you decide, here are key factors to keep in mind when selecting your holiday squishmallows.Size and Portability
Size can influence both the appeal and practicality of your squishmallow. Smaller Micromallows are easy to store, carry, and are often more budget-friendly, making them ideal for stocking stuffers or casual gifts. Larger plush, like the 14-inch Nick the Santa, makes a bigger visual impact and is better suited as a centerpiece or main gift. Consider how the recipient will display or play with the plush, and balance size with your budget.
Holiday Theme and Design
Look for designs that resonate with your holiday tradition or recipient’s tastes. Classic characters like Santa or themed sets such as advent calendars add seasonal charm. Beware of overly generic designs that may not feel special enough for the occasion. Themed options often come with festive packaging, enhancing the overall gifting experience, but may also come at a higher cost.
Packaging and Exclusivity
Limited editions, official sets, or exclusive packaging can elevate the gift’s appeal but often come with a higher price tag. Advent calendars offer ongoing fun and are perfect for children who enjoy counting down to Christmas, but they’re seasonal and tend to sell out quickly. Decide if you want a stand-alone plush or a collectible set, balancing exclusivity with availability.
Price and Value
Budget constraints will influence your choice—smaller Micromallows are typically more affordable, while larger or exclusive sets cost more. Consider whether the plush will be a centerpiece or part of a larger gift package. Sometimes spending a little more on a durable, well-designed plush results in a gift that lasts beyond the holiday season.
Collector vs. Gifter
If the recipient is a collector, look for limited editions or characters with higher detail and packaging. For gift-giving, focus on appealing, festive designs that evoke holiday spirit. Keep in mind that collector’s items may not be as cuddly or soft but will hold their value over time, whereas plush meant for children should prioritize softness and durability.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows holiday sets worth the extra cost?
Holiday sets can offer a festive experience and limited-edition characters, making them appealing for collectors or as special gifts. While they often cost more than regular plush, their seasonal exclusivity and themed packaging can justify the price for those wanting a memorable holiday gift or a collectible keepsake. However, if budget is a concern, individual plush or smaller Micromallows can provide similar holiday cheer at a lower cost.
Which size of squishmallow is best for gifting children during the holidays?
For children, smaller sizes like 8-inch or 10-inch plush are generally ideal—they’re manageable, affordable, and easy to play with. Larger plush, such as 14 inches, can serve as a main gift or decorative piece, but may be less practical for younger kids due to their size. Consider the recipient’s age and storage space when choosing the size to ensure your gift hits the right balance of fun and practicality.
Should I buy official or generic squishmallows for the holidays?
Official squishmallows, especially holiday-themed or limited editions, tend to have better quality and more authentic designs, which can make them more desirable as gifts or collectibles. Generic options may be cheaper but usually lack the same level of detail or festive appeal. If you want a gift that feels special and durable, sticking with official or licensed sets is worth the extra investment.
Are advent calendar squishmallows a good gift for kids?
Advent calendar squishmallows are popular for their ongoing surprise element, making them a fun and festive gift that extends the holiday season. They work well for children who enjoy countdown traditions and collecting multiple small plush. However, they tend to be more expensive and seasonal, so consider whether the recipient values the interactive experience or prefers a single plush gift instead.
When should I buy squishmallows during the holiday season?
To secure the best selection and avoid sell-outs, it’s wise to buy early in the holiday season—preferably by late November. Popular limited editions or exclusive sets tend to sell out quickly, especially on online platforms. Shopping early also gives you time to find the perfect gift, compare prices, and avoid last-minute shipping delays.
Conclusion
The best overall pick is the Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack for its variety, festive appeal, and value. For those who want an affordable, easy-to-gift option, smaller Micromallows are ideal. Collectors should consider limited editions or official sets, which offer higher detail and exclusivity. If you’re shopping for children, a larger plush like Nick the Santa provides a memorable holiday centerpiece. Overall, understanding your recipient’s preferences and your budget will guide you toward the perfect holiday squishmallow.
